Yesterday we had our first Super Sunday and it was awesome!  After our morning services, we ate lunch, watched Courageous, played some games, and then watched the Super Bowl with the rest of the church.  During halftime, the youth praise team did an incredible job of leading worship and sure beat any performance we didn't need to see.  

And if you are wondering what is going on in the first couple of pictures, that is pretty typical of what happens when my youth get to just hang out.  They play Temple Run, Scramble With Friends, check their Facebook, etc.  Welcome to the connected generation!

Our projects are winding down and we are now preparing to return to Crestview. God has done great things in Roanoke and we are excited to share them with you next Wednesday night at seven. Apparently we brought some of the Oklahoma heat with us because we are leaving an hour early for the job site our last two days of work so we can work before it gets too hot. This means some crews will get an extra hour of free time in the afternoon while this means other crews will add an extra hour of work to their day. We only have one more day to finish our work and I know everyone is anxious to be done.

On Wednesdays we only work half of the day. After lunch we are free to leave for a few hours of free time. This year our group decided to go see a movie, eat a nice meal, and hang out at the mall. For our movie some went to see Cars 2 while the rest of the group went to see Zookeeper. For dinner we are all eating at Abuelo's and then we will be heading to the mall before we go back our school for the night.

I am not sure which is more fun during a group movie. The movie itself or listening to everyone laugh!

Yesterday we got much needed rain for Roanoke, but that isn't good when you are trying to roof and side. So, what do you do during the rain at World Changers? Some had to wait it out in their van, some went to a local store, some had extra long lunch devotions, and others just sat there waiting to get back to work. Maybe we won't have any rain the rest of the week.

Every year I hear the same thing, the youth of Crestview are hard workers and great to have on a World Changers crew. It makes me proud to serve with these students and adults this week in Roanoke. We had a really good first day of working and each one of our crews did a ton of work. Please keep praying for us because we will face many challenges this week. We may have to deal with rain tomorrow and I know some need more sleep to stay healthy. Our students are making new friends and enjoying hanging with other Christian students from other parts of the country.
